Security
How we handle your voice, from the moment you send it to the moment it disappears.
- Voice message receivedon our servers
- Text deliveredin your Telegram
- Audio deletednothing stays with us
Transcribed on our own servers
Transcription runs on our own servers in Luxembourg, using speech recognition software installed on our premises. Your voice is not sent to any other transcription service, and it is never used to train artificial intelligence.
In memory, then deleted
During transcription, your voice message is held in our server’s memory (RAM). The audio file is deleted as soon as the text is delivered to you; if something fails, it is deleted no later than 24 hours afterwards.
The text is not kept
We do not store the transcript. Once delivered, it exists only on your side, in Telegram.
The message’s route
Your voice message goes through Telegram, then reaches us via Cloudflare over an encrypted connection. A chat with a Telegram bot is encrypted between your phone and Telegram, but not end-to-end: as with any ordinary Telegram chat, Telegram sees the message pass through.
What we do keep
To run the service, we keep the size, duration, status and date of each message, without the sound or the text. Technical logs (IP address, date, request result) help us protect the service against abuse.
Your account
Your password is never stored in plain text: we only keep a hash of it (Argon2). Our emails are sent via Brevo, within the European Union. We sell no data and use no advertising trackers.
Clean energy
Our servers run on 100 % renewable electricity: a green electricity contract and solar panels on site.
